blood oranges.

Monday, January 31, 2011

i have been eating copious amounts of blood oranges lately.

in other news, i took cameron took the park with me on saturday in hopes to capture a bit of the blizzard remnants. after reading up on words such as RAW, white balance, and histogram, i was more than apprehensive to try my hand at snow pics. which worked out well because once my fingers froze off, and the white balance was set, my battery died.

i got 3 pics (total) of pure raw talent behind a camera lens. i'll post tomorrow. you're on pins and needles, i know.

note to self: stick with the safe food pics inside the apartment. it's my thing.

Love the different colours of blood oranges which you have captured so well. Yes would love to see your pics of snow, we go up skiing every weekend and finding really hard to get some good ones. Think needs lots of green in them?

I go back and forth with blood oranges -- I've had some incredibly sweet ones and some that are quite sour. I'll have to check and see if my favorite farm stand at the mercado has them. They do certainly make for gorgeous photos.
