run forrest, run.

after a short bout with plantar fascitis, i finally felt like running again yesterday.

i'm not a hard core marathoner or anything. i just enjoy running and to not be able to was super frustrating. i couldn't help but think how grateful i am to be running at all. i know that's a bit extreme after a run-in with something as miniscule as plantar fascitis. but still... it's true.

I've always wanted to become a "runner", but after running for about 30 seconds I realize how much I hate it ;) Hope you have a wonderful run today.

I had plantar fascitis and it was no joke-my ballet career (which was never destined for big things anyway) was really over, and for a long time, just walking was painful. So glad to hear you're back on your feet and feeling good!

lena- i can't imagine how PF would impact a dance career. i was just so annoyed that it hurt to walk. that's my main mode of transportation! now i'm constantly afraid it will come back again.

jennifer-
feel proud. i max out at 1.5 miles, and i'm totally over it. but i enjoy it nonetheless.

oh so glad you're doing better! I had no idea such a thing existed:( I totally know what you mean by feeling grateful to run again - I've been stuck with a herniated disc for three months and I'm counting down the days till I can run and workout again! It's the little things that make us happy - I'll never ever take movement for granted again:)
