so when we decided to take a weekend trip to the hamptons, i had to find her house.
not only did we find her vomit-inducingly large house, i pulled out the zoom lens and proceeded to take some pics. don't think i'm a psychopath just yet? it gets worse.
as i'm taking paparazzi style pics (sing the song), sam starts growling at a man walking semi-close to the car. i took a break from my crazy photo session to see a sweat-pant clad jeffrey garten walking past our car and into his house.
it gets better...
later on that day, i walk into a diner and find ina and jeffrey sitting in a booth eating lunch. i kid you not, jeffrey looked at me like... "aren't you the crazy mofo that was taking pics outside my house?"
i'll post some beach pics tomorrow. i know you're on the edge of your seat.*

Omg, you're my hero. I looooove Ina. Actually, I find her pretty pretentious and annoying, so I would say that I love her in the same way I love Gwyneth. Except for that I would never buy GP's cookbook and own all of Ina's. I guard them all with obsessive diligence.

that is so hilarious and awesome. but i love her, too. i have this weird thing that I call my "Food Network Family." Bobby Flay is the older brother or cool uncle, Rachel Ray is the annoying aunt that no one can stand, Alton Brown is another awesome uncle. And Ina and Paula Dean are my grandmothers.

Okay, this is the best story I've heard in a while. I love Ina, but especially Jeffrey! So jealous you got to see him in his sweatpants AND get a dirty look from him. He's the sweetest. Don't you just want to hug him?

I can not tell you how many times I have said that I am going to find her house and camp outside until she lets me move in!!!! This is definitely the second best thing...you're my hero.
