a strong brow.

lately i'm feeling inspired by ladies sporting big fat eyebrows. how cool is the girl on the right? i wanna rip the eyebrows right off her face.

i have literally been forced to put my best face forward since i got a pixie cut a couple years ago. i have no hair to hide behind! that being said, i feel the need to be very meticulous with my brow trimming routine.

i'm not going to grow a unibrow or anything, but maybe it's time to stop being tweezy tweezerson and see what happens.

in other non- eyebrow news, sam wiggins turns 3 on sunday and (of course) we're celebrating.

I love strong brows. Happy birthday Sam Wiggins!

(Also, I loved your stalking Ina and Jeffrey post. The Barefoot Contessa is one of my favorite shows.)

Haha I have a pretty strong set of eyebrows and I HATE them! You know that's why I originally decided to sport bangs? I was so tired of waxing my eyebrows, that when I have bangs, you don't see them anyway!

I'm so envious of brows like these! I have a couple of weak, no-arch semi-circles.

ditto on the weak brows. laying off the tweezers for a bit and hoping i don't look shag-a-delic.

As a haver of strong brows I'm not sure I'm so in love with mine. Sometimes I wish I had a delicate slightly arched feminine brow. I'm terrified to get them waxed and they turn into that though. I have no idea what they would look like on me. So I will continue to maintain my strong brow myself with my handy tweezers [:-)

I've always been jealous of Brooke Shields brows. If you do go that route, I suggest seeing someone to trim and shape as you grow out. I know I get plucky and can't stop. But that's just me.

Love your pixie cut, adorable!

i am still waiting on one of my eyebrows to catch up with the other. you see, i had a tweezing problem in high school. waaay too skinny eyebrow, when i should have prided in my busy brows. a few years ago i just stopped tweezing in hopes they would fill out. one did. the other is so so so slow in the race. eyebrow powder and a brush gel is now my make up bff.

Gah, I'm with Bianca-overzealous tweezing is the bane of my eyebrows. Thank goodness for Anastasia products!

I adore the strong brow look {though I may be a bit bias as I have "on the bushy side" brows myself}

I am in total agreement on the strong brows! I think they look stunning and frame the eyes very well! (Much more than skinny brows!) I may have to throw out my tweezers, too :) Thanks for visiting my blog!

I used to have white blonde hair and now that I'm brunette my eyebrows don't seem to match my hair AT ALL. I'm constantly looking at dark thick eyebrows with envy. Such a good look!
