do you wear hats all summer long? or only at the beach?

i didn't used to be so hat crazy, but now i feel naked without one when the sun is beating down on me. hopefully i'll be happy about my hat decision when i'm 70 years old and my skin doesn't look like leather.

I'm trying to break into hats this summer. Sadly, I have a very large head and very thick hair. It's proving to be difficult...

I love hats with brims...helps keep the sun out of my eyes when i'm reading at the beach. i guess i don't really wear them to walk around though, just big sunglasses!

What a darling hat! I've always been a big fan of 'em, and just picked up an oversized beach hat I can't wait to break in!

I wore a hat today too! (But only because my hair desperately needed to be hidden)

I just got sunburned today and only WISH I had been wearing a hat like that! By the way, you look so lovely in it!

Trying to find the perfect floppy hat for the beach but I love the one your wearing in the pic. Wish I could pull it off like you!

I have a few hats I like, but I never wear them. Sometimes I buy hats when I'm on trips, but then I never wear them again, so they're always 'my memorial day trip hat' or 'that hat I got in Florence.'

hats are great for sun protection (and style) but remember to SPF your hands and your neck so they won't show your age either!

I'm looking for something similar to what you have in the photo but a tad smaller, and I also want something big, dramatic, and floppy too so I can pretend I'm Rita Hayworth this summer.

i don't wear hats in the summer, they make my head too hot

I love hats, but I guess I'm just not used to wearing them. Every time I go out with a hot that isn't meant to keep me warm, the hat almost always comes off soon after I've put it on. That's something I'll need to get over.
So true about them protecting your skin!

And thank you for visiting Four Leaf Clover and leaving a comment! : )

I try to wear a fedora as often as possible...cute, lightweight and protects my fair skin. Also, thank you for your comment yesterday!

my father-in-law just became a milliner and all of my in-laws love hats. i think they are the perfect accessory, but i often can't pull them off, especially with short hair. you DEFINITELY pull it off. such a cute hat.
