aruba- after the sun goes down.

Friday, August 26, 2011

nothing much went on after the sun goes down. i'm pretty sure we went to bed by 9:30pm every night.

i questioned whether i should share with you our lameness. though it's not really a matter of lameness in aruba, just a lack of things to do.

are you bored with our vacation photos yet? good. cause there are no more.

peace out for the weekend. i'll be chillin' with the hurricane.

I feel like whenever Jake and i go on vacation, especially beach vacations, we go to bed super early. i wonder why?

Oh your vacation photos make me so jealous! I want to go to Aruba.

Maybe you guys do so much during the day that you are tired and go to bed early? I haven't a clue why.

lol, we went to Curacao a few years ago, and it was the same. we went to bed around 8 every evening. it's a beautiful island, but absolutely nothing to do after dark :)

love your pics!!!

With Irene coming to visit, I bet you wish you were back in Aruba!! LOL I'll be chillin' with the hurricane too. Or at least I hope 'she'll' be chillin'!! O_O

I think this is pretty normal for beach vacations- we did the same in Costa Rica, Mexico, Belize and Hawaii. The humidity usually wipes me out!

Yep, we did the same thing in Belize. In bed by 8ish, up at sunrise. It was glorious!

Eeek! You have fun with that hurricane---at least it didn't hit while you were in Aruba! We don't get hurricanes in Wisconsin. :)

OMG! I had to do a double take as I thought it was Ben Stiller in your photos!!!!

Looks so relaxing. Stay dry this weekend! I have a friend visiting from Sweden (such bad timing) and I think we're going to hunker down with Lost on Netlix, and make Bloody Mary's and lasagna. Hope Sam Wiggins doesn't get scared in storms!

9:30pm bedtimes and lots of relaxation? I'll take it anytime.

Hang in there with that hurricane!!

In islands or near the beach vacations is always like that. But when you return to the frantic daily life, especially when you have to face long hours in traffic in a rainy afternoon you miss those early nights dearly.

Lovely pictures but then the "models" helped. And you look good with an healthy tan

Thank you for sharing and do take care!

Looks like you are having a good time. You make more and more collages. I am also trying but it takes more work.

Greetings,
Filip

Aruba sounds amazing. Most of our tropical destination vacations end up in early nights also...at least you come back fully rested.

clothes hanging on the wrought-iron just says vacation to me.

I think its so important sometimes to have nothing to do.

I love your photos and I am not a big fan of traveling to places where there isn't much to do but sometimes you just need a break
