bike basket in chelsea.

Thursday, August 25, 2011

yesterday i strolled around chelsea for a bit after meeting brandi for lunch. i couldn't help but snap a pic of this cool (impractical) bike basket.

i assure you my days are not normally spent gallivanting around the city lunching with friends. this week is a rare exception and i'm soaking in every minute.

that bike basket is BEAUTIFUL, even if impractical! yes, soak in every minute! i'd love to be gallivanting around Ne York City. (sigh).

What a fun bike! I'd love to ride that around town making people's days with the impracticality of my yellow flowers :)

Are those real flowers? What a cute idea.

sandy joe-
they were fake. i guess that upped the practicality a notch or 2.

I love your pictures, what kind of camera do you use?

trucking tumbleweed-
i have a canon rebel t2i. i use a 24-70mm f/2.8 lens. my lens costs more than the camera, proving that a good lens makes all the difference.

Hehe, impractical perhaps, but oh-so-cheerful and sweet :) Hope you are enjoying your week!

I wish that I was lunching and gallivanting around New York. Honestly. That sounds amazing. Enjoy it while you can!
And the bike basket is so pretty. I think it's impracticality makes it even more glamorous and wonderful.

I have GOT to get a basket for my bike. Maybe one more practical (and more boring) though.

vanessa-
i learned the best place for a basket is on the back of the bike. that way it's not toppling over all the time. maybe that's just my opinion though.
