the perfect camera bag.

Friday, August 12, 2011

joanna was right when she said backpacks are all over nyc.

mine makes the perfect camera bag with lots of pouches for back-up batteries and memory cards.

no more excuses for not having my camera with me at all times.

ps: a shout-out from my hair stylist.
ps again: i'm over here today too.
ps 1 more time: i swear MZ wallace doesn't pay me. i wish they did. sadly, i'm just obsessed.

Backpacks are dope, for sure! Plus, being incognito is totally underrated. I can't stand carrying camera bags that look like camera bags. I normally switch it up with a tote in the summer, though. That way I avoid the sweaty back situation. Have a great weekend!

funny how backpacks ebb and flow. i guess they are flowing now.

i have two Dakine backpacks. i live at the beach and they are perfectly sporty for all my activities: beach, bike, swim meets, art festivals, you know. they are the smaller Dakine style and are just perfect with the right compartments. I can carry my camera, and stash a lens in there, but just one lens.

i like bags that are easy to get in and out of and backpacks require a bit of work. say i want my lipgloss. take it off my back. unzip. find the pocket. apply gloss. put it away. zip up. put back onto my back. then, repeat, b/c i invariably want something else i hadn't thought about!

i can hang my sun visor over the loop at the top too!

what I want to know is WHERE DID YOU GET YOURS? I ADORE IT!

I wish I could carry a cute bag like this. I really need the padding and protection (plus tripod loop thing)my camera bag gives.

good luck growing out your hair!

jake-
yeah, i started leaving the camera bag at home. i got tired of people treating me like a tourist. i get up in their face like I'M FROM NYC, beotch. not really, but i could.

jeannie-
there is a link to the backpack in the post.

I believe you! Especially if you have your 7' tall beau standing behind you with his arms crossed, hehe. We should all hangout one of these days, before summer is over. Beach trip tomorrow?

I bring my faux leather backpack everywhere! It's perfection. And since my camera bag has a removable protective liner I can throw my camera and lenses in my pack whenever I want.

AH! I can't believe Raegan cuts your hair. I totally follow all of her blogs and have kind of a blogger crush oh her and I definitely wish I didn't live on the other side of the country so she could cut my hair too! Good luck with the grow-out, girl! I'm sure it will look as fabulous longer as it does in the pixie!

I'm trying to justify spending this amount of money for this backpack. Would you say it is worth it? We're moving to Vienna and I want a stylish backpack to walk around the city with (will need to carry baby & kid's stuff, wallet, etc.)

hey fran-
i would say it is worth the money only because i have yet to find another backpack that doesn't look like i'm going back to college. it has a ton of little compartments to hide stuff in. i use it for a camera bag and also as a purse. hope that helps!

Thanks Rebecca....I might have to bite the bullet!!
