Beautiful autumn images. I love fall - the only downside being that I hate hate hate winter. Which sort of takes away from me loving fall...

Fall definitely rolled in this weekend. It sounds like you welcomed it in all the right ways.

I love 'wichcraft's tomato soup! I'm so jealous of you East Coasters this time of year - you have the most gorgeous weather and scenery :) Happy October!

Can you believe how cold it's gotten? I almost feel like we skipped over fall and went straight to winter! Some chicken quinoa soup would be perfect right now -- I've been trying to find ways to say warm all day. And have you been to the Madison Square Park Eats event yet? I just stumbled upon it yesterday and I think you'd love it!

Autumn came in the form of rain Saturday. Pouring rain all day, which was a nice change from the heat. I love staying home in the rain!

Chicken/quinoa soup sounds so so good right now. Any chance you want to share the recipe?

rebecca said...

samara-
i'm working on a quinoa post and i'll try to incorporate the recipe. though there isn't really a recipe. i just dumped stuff in a soup pot.

Samara said...

That's pretty much how I cook everything.

I'm definitely looking forward to your quinoa post. Have you ever added it to chili? SO GOOD.
