momofuku milk bar opened up another location right around the corner.

i imagine we will spend several winter afternoons sitting in the big windows drinking coffee and eating compost cookies.

in other news, thanks to the blog fairy for fixing my twitter/facebook widgets under each post. they actually work now! i know you were concerned.

I live for the blueberry & cream cookie. And the corn cookie. And the blackberry kefir lime shake. It's all good, really.

compost cookies have chocolate chips, butterscotch, potato chips, pretzels, coffee grinds and who knows what else in them. sounds gross, but they are delish.

I've never been to a Milk bar but I keep hearing I need to go. This is where I panic and freak out because I'm leaving so soon... But luckily, I won't be farm.

See, this is when living in Australia sucks. I'm pretty sure I should be sitting out the front of this amazing-sounding place, eating a delicious-sounding compost cookie (or three. Whatevs). Please have one (or three. Whatevs) for me.

I tried making their compost cookies awhile back...a recipe courtesy of the Regis and Kelly show. They turned out gross...are they really as good as everyone says they are? I really hope they are b/c they sound like my kind of cookie.

Oh, how I love all of their cookies. I think it would be very dangerous if one opened near me in Astoria!
