day trip to bear mountain.

bear mountain proved to be the perfect day trip from nyc. the day included popping ears (from the elevation), gorgeous views, fall colors, and a general appreciation for the hudson valley.

i'm still picking leaves out of sam's fur.

I also LOVE the coat... Is it new? And if so, where did you get it? I doubt we'll be running into each other wearing it any time soon... ;)

Ah, such fun! I love spending fall days outside. Your coat is gorgeous-where's it from?!

Ah looky you there at all that glorious colour!
Rolling hills of amber hues is something we just don't get in Oz - well not the part I live in anyway.

Great geography tutorial for me too to see the outline of NYC and know just how far away it is.

SW looks like he had a grand time with all the new 'sniffs' and my fingers are crossed that he ignored my advice and everyone had a great trip there and back.

Happy day!

it looks gorgeous where you are. You've given me the desire to go on a hiking adventure.
and i know what you mean about the bald head when wearing a hat because your hair's too short thing.
but on the plus side you can surprise everyone when you take off the hat and reveal a head o hair. :)

Despite having lived relatively close to Bear Mountain all my life, I've never made the trip there. I think that will have to change after this post!

I want to be in these pictures with you.

That sounded creepy, sorry.
