don't you wish you could be as happy as a dog in a car?
happiness in it's purest form
ed says i'm obsessed with taking pics of people's feet
he may be right
i need to be nicer when asking ed to snap pics of me
yelling "don't overexpose!" and "get down on my level!" isn't cutting it
thank god for photoshop and a patient husband
made this soup a few nights ago
tasted like our favorite thai restaurant
2 weeks until thanksgiving
we are keeping the tradition of seeing the macy's parade balloons being blown up
it's not the holidays without elbowing a few angry new yorkers
clementines!
hurry up and read this before it gets dark
pumpkin bread and kefir....

This will be my first Thanksgiving in NYC and I'm so excited for it. A group of us are also going to watch the floats get blown up. One friend is trying to convince me to attend the actual parade. I told him I thought he was crazy. Have you ever been?

I yell at my husband when he takes my picture too. :) It's not very nice and I need to chill. Happy dogs are the best.

skim-
last year we caught the end of the parade. the balloons are so tall you can be far away and still see things without having to be in the crowd. we watched from a distance in central park.

Watching from Central Park sounds right up my alley. I'm upholding my Thanksgiving tradition of running a race in the morning. This year it's happening in the Bronx. Perhaps a stop in the park on the way back to Brooklyn will be needed. Thanks for the tip!

Ha! I'm so glad you admitted to being particular about your pictures. Poor Luke has heard snappy remarks from me as well. Note to self, chill out and invest in a tripod ;) As for the Parade, this will be year #2 for us attending. We loved it last year and had an awesome spot at 72nd on the West Side (we did not go very early either, 30 min before). Not nearly as psychotic as NYE in Times Square (nightmare!)

Ah SW I thought we had the whole 'window-winding' issue sorted - we'll have to talk to your parents again.

I want to kiss your doodle! I fell in love with a golden doodle named Lucy. She's on my facebook page. And have you tried blueberry kefir? Or pomegranate? I'm curious to know your fave.

caitlin-
i usually stick with strawberry but like most every flavor. vanilla tastes kinda weird though.

Cute, cute, cute. I like your thoughts. And you are right, there is truly nothing happier than a dog in a car. Happy thanksgiving, I miss this time in New York.

what a face! I wish I could be as permanently happy as my cat when he sleeps/eats/licks himself/gets a belly rub. That's the life.

I love Sam Wiggins' breaf on the window. Made me smile.

I'm going to the blow up, too. I'll try not to do anything to warrant your elbows. :)
