I just had the same thought about purging today. I want simplicity! Love this feature on your blog. Random thoughts are the best.

i'm in the throws of purging right now. it's the best feeling in the whole world. goodbye teacups! see you never charger station!

I have definitely been getting rid of lots of stuff - my closet is cleaner than ever. As for the peplum...I actually love them, but as a "big busted" girl, the way the waist sits right under my chest and then flares out is pretty much the most unflattering thing ever. so i'll be sitting this one out. but I think they're darling on more boyish shapes!

yikes. godspeed with the FLOR choices. i hate rug decisions - so impossible because they make SUCH a huge impact on the room. i'm having a bit of a rug dilemma myself.

peplums = hate; need to purge too (and paint! ohman); love those photography tips. (i'm feeling non-wordy today.)

my hips are already the widest part of my body. i don't think the peplum would do me any favors.
i sort of still love john mayer...even though i haven't bought his last two albums. i'll at least give it a listen.
spring cleaning - yes!
also hate rug decisions. luckily, a neighbor moving just gave us a beautiful dhurrie rug she couldn't take to her next place. free rug that basically matches = decision made!

So good to know that John Mayer's new CD is coming out soon! Shifting clocks make me truly feel that spring is here and summer is around the corner.

Always love reading these :) And yes, still in purging mode around here, too. And thx for the reminder about Daylight Savings. eeks! totally forgot!

I would wear the shizz out of that shirt dress, think of the possibilities.

i will probably do a flor tile post. though discerning the difference in patina, fog, and frost doesn't seem very interesting at the moment.

Chris and I successfully purged all the crap we don't want when we get our new place. Yay! Tempted to find out more info on that awesome apartment. Speaking of awesome, I'm digging those aviator sunglasses. Now if only I were cool enough to send them... Also, on the peplum: I was so not a fan until my BFF got her wedding gown. It helps that she's gorgeous and tall.

patrice-
your best friend rocked the peplum for sure! beautiful.

my stream of consciousness...I'm ALL about the peplum. Especially since after nearly 21 months since Lucia's birth I finally have a waist again! Also, I need you to tell me how much you love the Flor tiles since I likely need to go that route too (damn you, sweater rug!) And like you I'm purging belongings...anyone want a white Parsons table and two brown leather bar stools?! yay for Mad Men (and all the MM-inspired fashions this spring). And speaking of spring I didn't even know we were changing the clocks this weekend so thanks for letting me know!

and, thank you for the shout out! x

I am DEFINITELY feeling the urge to purge. Ha! You're not alone at all.

Also: I'm super excited for daylight savings time. When it gets dark at like 4:30 pm I get depressed. Sunlight = happiness. True story.

Have a fabulous weekend!!
