This is THE very best thing to do in Paris! Sigh, I want to go back so badly - lovely, lovely pictures!
kate-thanks! and i agree... just walking with no particular plans was our favorite part of the whole trip.
Walking, wandering, watching...the BEST in Paris!!
this is my favorite thing to do whenever we go anywhere...especially Paris! It's great to plan an afternoon in a museum but the streets of Paris are like mini museums and adventure waiting to happen. Plus, like you said, you can stop for a cafe when ever you're feeling like you need a little rest. I love the cafe culture in Paris. Can't wait to see more of your photos! these are so great. and btw, I LOVE your red shoes. Where from?
So lovely.p.s. You effortlessly blend in with the Parisians! I'm jealous :)
Holy crap, you guys look so chic and Parisian! I love your blazer. and you're giving me major wanderlust. I want to go NOW!
Rebecca, I just recently discovered your blog and absolutely love it! This will sound kind of kooky but reading your site makes me feel so calm and cozy! THANK YOU! Now tell us about all these awesome shoes you are wearing!
This is what I loved doing in Paris broken up with coffee breaks and lots of people watching--the people there intregue me.
Ack! Incredible! Must get all the details ASAP!
Beautiful pictures. I have never seen Paris in this way. Seeing how truly people there live is nice. What an amazing place! I love to visit there one day. I love how you put together, simple and stylish.
chessa and petya-thanks guys. red shoes are jeffrey campbell. :)
How were the Bensimons? Did you find they run TTS? And comfortable?
katie-i walked all over paris and now nyc in bensimons. crazy comfortable. though they don't offer any arch support if that's a concern...
you look like you BELONG. seriously. you scream fashion. i stuck out like a sore thumb in Paris!
Yes! We walked and walked and walked some more when we went, years ago. And I'm with everyone else - you look super stylish. Love those red shoes!
Love this! Heading there next month and absolutely cannot wait. :)
You and Ed look so at home in Paris. It sounds like you two had the perfect balance of adventure and relaxation.
More lovely photos! And I must agree, you look tres chic. The red shoes are my favorite. Have them in black, but now I'm thinking I might need the red, too. . .
Paris is definitely my favorite city to walk. These pictures make me want to go back so so bad!

Stop killing me with cuteness, please. PS–all but squealed when I saw a little love to you from Cup of Jo this afternoon.
So Frenchy So Chic - you definitely both looked the part. Everywhere my husband and I went people automatically spoke English or German to us. We're Aussies!
