off season in the hamptons is crisp, deserted, and perfectly quiet. we make the trip every spring to stock up on seafood, stalk the barefoot contessa, and run on the beach with sam.

Dreamy! Have a beautiful Monday. xo
Such perfect solitude! Looks like Sam enjoyed the beach :)
So beatiful!
No dogs allowed, huh. Who makes these kind of rules anyway? Lovely captures, the three of you look superb.

What beautiful photos! I've always loved the beach in the off season -- there's something so lonely and wild about it.
Off season is so perfect. Feels like you own the whole place, doesn't it?
Oh wow it looks so nice and relaxing! What a beautiful beach!

I love seeing the dogs run freely on the beach out there. There's no reason why they can't enjoy it as much as we do.
This sounds like bliss!
Oh wow, looks amazing. Lucky you!
This looks so lovely. I've never been, but will have to make a trip one day since it's so close.
I don't quite know what it is, but the Pacific doesn't hold a candle to the Atlantic.
The beach in the off season is my absolute favorite. And now I'm all nostalgic for a trip to Montauk.
This takes my breath away!! So gorgeous.
Ooh, this looks so peaceful! I love going to the beach on off-season. I hope you actually got to see the Barefoot Contessa! ;)
We ran into the Barefoot Contessa last week on our honeymoon in Positano, Italy. She and her husband sat down at the table next to us. We never spoke to them as they were meeting with another person, but Ina seemed as warm and lovely in person as she does on television.
becky-
that's awesome! don't you just wanna give her a hug? she seems so cordial.
Gorgeous... WOW, I obv need to get there someday:)
This looks like a perfect getaway! I love that you have the beach all to yourself.
