argan oil benefits

ed has this beauty expert friend who hooks me up with random cool products from time to time. a few weeks ago he comes home with two bottles of argan oil in his briefcase.

i've heard amazing things about argan oil so i figured i'd give it a go.

it's only been two weeks so it hasn't worked any miracles yet. i'm sure it's working some magic but i don't really care cause it feels soooooooo good when i slather it on. oddly enough, it doesn't leave me all that oily.

have u tried it?

Interesting. I just recently started using a facial oil too, but I haven't heard of argan oil. Mine is based on rosehip oil, with added herbs and yummy-smelling goodness. Love it.

Bob has beauty hook-up at his job, so he came with a bottle of Argan oil for me a few months ago for me too! Ha. I was using it on my cuticles for a while in the winter, but it didn't improve the condition so I stopped using it. I think I might give it another go and just use it for my elbows or something.

I've heard good things too...but I've been using the same (Josie Maran) argan oil for awhile (on face in winter before sleep, on hands/cuticles, on rough patches) and haven't noticed any improvements or benefits. Hmph.

I love the Josie Maran argan oil for my face! I tried a less expensive brand & didn't like it as much. I think the key is to only use a few drops. It doesn't, however, work for my hair; it's a little too heavy. Rose hip oil is really nice for skin, too.

I just started using her Argan oil a few weeks ago and love it! I wondered if you bought a less expensive organic version if it would work as well? Her line is much pricier.

I've tried argan oil and liked it, but it was too expensive for me to keep up with. It was also a little heavy for my skin. I've been using coconut oil on my skin for a year now and it looks the best it ever has! Plus, waaaaayyyy cheaper and it's one of those products you can use for everything!

hmmmmm i haven't, but i'm always curious about random beauty products. researching more now:)

I used this for a few months and didn't notice anything different. I was disappointed because I REALLY wanted it to work. I use it for cuticle oil now. Seems to work great with that.

I love the entire Josie Maran product line (well, at least the makeup that matters - powder, concealer), and this was what introduced me to it! I will say, it was winter when I got into this, and I especially loved it then - hydrated my face without feeling heavy. Often in the winter, my face just stays dry, but this helped a ton. I have used a drop on wet hair, and I would say that unless you're planning on curling it, it's way too heavy for hair (but she has a hair mist for that, haven't tried it though). Anyway, love love love. I don't think it's that pricey considering it lasts forever (I would buy the $14 trial size at sephora at it lasted me over 2 months).

ooh! haven't tried oils on my face, though i'm a big fan of slathering oil on my bod after a shower. seriously better than moisturizer.

ive wanted to try that after using josie's healthy sunscreen (which i LOVE). id probably start by using it on the ends of my hair.

I've used the oil for a while now. Initially got it as a sample at Sephora and liked it so much that I came back and bought myself one. I've been using it as a daily moisturizer only because my skin is super dry. It's worked well for me because it sinks and has left my skin pretty soft. I haven't used it on my hair but have on ny hands but didn't think much of it for my hands. I do think it's gotten my skin a bit better though.

I'm afraid to put oil on my face. Please report back when/if you see some results.

I have the exact bottle in my arsenal of beauty products. Love it.

I brought this lovely with me to the hospital when I delivered my baby and, after a shower in that sterile-feeling place, it made me feel all luxurious. Worth every penny.

I do oil on the face. I have pretty oily skin too. I use jojoba oil on my face and rotate coconut oil and almond oil on the skin. I also use avocado oil for removing makeup off my face. I love my oils!!

I'm a big fan of oils in general–I have yet to try argan oil, though!

I use argan oil on my face occasionally and it feels great afterwards.

I love argan oil. My skin has improved since I started using it. I started using Josie Maran's argan oil but have found much cheaper versions at a local health food store.

I have not! You should do an update in a few weeks!!

I use a spray argan oil on my hair in the winter (a couple times a week) because it's so very dry out here in Colorado. I find it really helps.

I use this and I love it. My skin, as you're aware, has not been behaving lately, though. So what do I know? :)

I've used argan oil in my hair, just not this brand. I have a bottle of Pro Naturals Moroccan Argan Oil for my hair which I use for heat styling and it's worked well so far to protect it and get it looking shiny.

I read about this on The Glow. Josie Maran is featured here. Thanks for the tip. Now I must try it! xo.

I have started to use argan oil as a wrinkle reducer. I am sure it will give me the very best result.

I did not like Jose Marin Argan's oil - its was too oily ! The Somaluxe Argan Oil has improved the appearance of my thick coarse hair and has made it feel really soft and tamed my wavy/curly hair. What I like most about it is that it does not leave my hair with a greasy residue the way Jose Marin Argan Oil does.
