roberta's brooklyn

the train ride from the upper west side to roberta's in brooklyn is not the shortest. though definitely worth it for a taste of their wood-burning oven pizza and overall offbeat atmosphere.

ps: roberta's summer garden dinner series looks tempting.

I love your photos! The Christmas lights are so warm and inviting - I kind of want to copy that in my home office (aka the weird nook off our bedroom that's too small for anything other than a desk).

yummm. looks so good! also, that bowtie is killing me. (maybe it's because it's in tandem with the moustache?)

Once again, your pictures are wonderful.

I used to work in a wood fire pizza place, it was soooo good! The only down side was hot hot it would get in there. But I guess that's probably because no one in WA has air conditioning because it rarely gets THAT hot. Your pictures definitely bring back some memories. Awesome!

That looks so delicious that it almost makes the commute from Arizona look worth it :)

Surprisingly, we think the pizza is the worst thing there! The innovative small plates coming out of that kitchen blow the pizza out of the water. I hate seeing it touted as just a pizza place—it's so much more. ;)
