anniversaries are lame and i've never been one to celebrate the occasion. thankfully ed is a bit more sentimental so we usually go to dinner and reminisce about the past. i found our wedding cd while pulling out winter sweaters and figured i'd share a few in the spirit of not being a party pooper.
we got married at cheekwood gardens in nashville, tn right before moving to the city. i chose a simple dress from jcrew and a hodge podge bouquet of hydrangeas. his uncle led the ceremony as we fought off mosquitoes. to this day, i STILL regret sam wiggins not being part of our wedding day. he was a few months old and would have likely tinkled down the aisle, but dangit he's part of this family and he should have been there.

I totally disagree by the way. Anniversaries are awesome. We treat it as a family holiday(there are only two of us for now) and take days off work and plan simple treats :)

I have to disagree with not celebrating anniversaries! :) When we got married, we agreed to only celebrate days that were individually special to us - anniversary and birthdays. We don't do anything special for holidays but we do make sure to plan and celebrate those 3 days a year. I love it.

Happy anniversary! We just had our three-year yesterday and I have to agree that one of the biggest regrets I had was that our Bailey-dog was not a part of the day (granted we lived in SF then and were married in NYC, but still...). Here's to many more happy years!
