the daily muse

do you put on your pj's the second you reach home?
i've been living in a sleepshirt and leggings
speaking of which, let it be known that leggings are NOT pants (thanks em)
though i'm forever confused by the wannabe leggings that look like pants
what are the rules!?!?
how to prep your hair for your color appointment

also a really good way to burn the place down
gave my two cents to ona's gift guide for photographers

lol I love these random lists...and yes I too rush to put my pjs on the minute I get in...even if it is 5 o'clock, its dark and therefore night, thats my excuse!

Absolutely put on the comfy clothes the minute I walk in the door...it's almost instantly that my current outfit starts to feel itchy and constraining, my body is yearning for stretchy, fuzzy and soft. I also have some ridiculously fuzzy and unsexy socks... not sure my boyfriend loves the routine, but some days I try to match the socks to the pj bottoms!

In winter I put on the pjs, but in summer I just pull of everything and walk around in a t-shirt and undies! Best way ever!

I have been slugging around in a Christmas sweater and leggings. I'm sure it's a treat for the neighbors when I get up at 5am to let the puppy out. PS, we got a medium labradoodle last week, he's almost as cute as wiggins!

Yup, me too... it's a habit from high school when I wore a uniform. Walk in the door and change into pajamas. Though I always change into different pajamas for sleeping, because I've probably spilled some food or played with the dog in my lounging pajamas. Most of my friends keep their work clothes on when they get home. Weirdos.

Oh, and leggings are NOT pants. And not even the ones that are completely opaque and thick. If it doesn't have a zipper and/or pockets I consider them leggings and whatever I'm wearing them with needs to at least go a few inches below my butt!

that scarf! i love it.

i won't get into the leggings/pants/trousers debate, because everyone is entitled to his/her own opinion (and if they aren't see-through that's enough for me).

i will agree that pjs are pretty awesome + snuggly...but i still can't manage to get into them early (i snack a lot, and i also spill a lot when i'm snacking, so...). instead i just stay in them till noon! (aka right now.)

I don't change immediately when I get home, but that's probably because I get to wear jeans (or leggings, you know) to work. I've heard it's good to change when you get home because that act of changing into "home clothes" changes your mind (and level of stress) from work mentality to home mentality.

I sort of love that J Crew sleep shirt. I would probably wear it in public... no shame! Also I think it's ok to wear leggings as "pants" so long as they are opaque and your camel toe is covered (because I don't care how skinny you are, everyone has camel toe in leggings).

I don't live in pjs but I do love to get comfy when I get home!

I am 100% with you....I don't care what anyone says, leggings are STILL NOT pants! I can't even wear them around the house as pants. Principles, principles!

Loving all the gift guides going around! They give me ideas for what to get and what to ask for.

I change IMMEDIATELY–that nightshirt in ivory, or the classic navy pjs. Glad I'm not the only one!

That scarf color is boss.

Also? I wish I had read about your hair color prep post before getting my hair done last week... but I guess that wouldn't have changed the fact that the damn hairdresser turned it PURPLE!?!

And I resist the urge to throw on jammies until after the kids are in bed because I am a stay-at-home mama and I guess if I did that, I would possibly always be wearing jammies, you know?

I ABSOLUTELY get into pajamas the moment I get home and also I am confused on the leggings rule too. Some leggings are kinda pants and some pants are kinda leggings...what the crap?

I love this scarf! Green is my favorite color. It looks like it is the same scarf as the purple one you are pictured in a couple of posts ago? Could you please tell me where you got it? I would love one!
Merry Christmas and thanks for sharing!

YES! I put my jammies on as soon as I'm home. Although, being a WAHM allows me to be in PJs most of the time anyway.
