i've always called them house shoes but apparently slippers would be the correct name. i was gifted these a few christmases ago and i rarely take them off in the winter. perfect for apartment living as i'm always taking the trash out or running to get the laundry in the basement. also, sweaty feet mixed with shearling makes for an odorous popcorn smell.
ps: flannels too.

Oh yes. I have my sherpa lined Minnetonka slippers and they too rarely leave my feet (at home, that is)
cozy feet!
I am so glad that I am not the only one who thinks of popcorn when they catch a whiff of the worn shearling slipper lining!

those booties! want.
I just got some new ones this week! I have been long over due butI was holding out for the perfect pair. they are grey and have the knitted sweater look.
Yes! I am in dire need of cozy slippers and all of these look divine.
i have shearling slippers too! but i think you can wash shearling, can't you? (so then no weird-popcorn smell...)
I have a pair of scuffs I've just kept replacing for close to a decade–love 'em so much!
Just the other day I saw some pretty cute and fluffy slippers in H&M. I can't stand being cold in my feet in winter. Gimme fluffness and warmth! :)

I love my Ugg house slippers - they are the best. My husband has a pair as well and wear them all winter long.
I love that you're from the South. I just read the Flannels post(which was hilarious), and I'm wondering if you've ever had the same issue I do: I have a country complex. As in, I've fought "looking country" for so long, that I actually can't buy a plaid shirt. But I liiiiike plaid shirts. Are there support groups for this kind of thing? :)
