after the fresh farm air, we packed up our things and spent the day cooking with ed's family. i very much enjoy the company of my in-laws and i find that to be a rare thing. doesn't everyone have some sort of horrific in-law story? the word itself even has a negative connotation. a few weeks late on the giving of the thanks, but i'm grateful that mine have a good sense of humor.
for whatever reason i'm always in charge of the fruit salad. probably because it's my favorite thing to eat and in no way involves a turkey carcass.
how's that for thanksgiving two weeks later?! onward to christmas...

Looks lovely! And fruit salad really always wins.
Thanksgiving, two ways! Glad you have such great in laws! :)
My attention span was lost at the first photo and the Eames chair...LUST!
Looks perfect. And I really want a Sam Wiggins.
Looks like such a wonderful & relaxing time with family. Sam Wiggins looks sooo cuddly! Hope this weekend is another relaxing one for you guys.
Looks like a good time to me! My in-laws are pretty amazing as well. My family is the one with the horrific stories so I guess I had to balance things out with some great in-laws. Thanks for sharing!
This looks like such a wonderful visit, and I love that you adore your in-laws. John's parents are some of my favorite people on Earth, and I always hope that if you love someone, you'll also adore the people who raised 'em that way!
your hair is getting so long! It looks great!
