Those little coals–how adorable!
I appreciate this post. I live in northern Minnesota and a good stove is crucial. Last week our temps hit -30...some spots colder. Brrr. Mike and I live in a log home in the woods and heat with a wood burning fireplace on the main level and just added an Ecoteck wood pellet stove from Italy to our lower level. Her name is Veronica and she is beautiful...and warm. (I just love how the Italians name their things.) Here is the post I did on the Minnesota Brrr last week...and will probably do another one later this week as I just read a piece about a 150 mile bike race that took place in the frigid cold woods on Tuesday. Crazy people here. Love it! http://dinaclabaugh.wordpress.com/2013/01/24/brrr/

-30?!! whoa! thanks for sharing the post. crazy people, indeed.
whoa those are cool...and radiators are the best..hissing and all. love ours.
OMG I want those!!!!!
Our radiators keep our apartment pretty warm as well, but what I wouldn't give for a little 'fire' to curl up next to and warm ourselves after freezing dog walks!
Yes it is Rebecca! You must check out my friend's photography...he did a brrr post today as well. I thought you would appreciate it since you are a gifted photographer as well!

I just got a space heater and I'm in love. But I must say I miss my cranky, hissing radiator in NYC -- it never failed to keep my apartment warm and toasty like a sauna!
OOooh I found this post at the right time. So cold in New York and my heat refuses to work. Hellllo new space heater.

we got our son, atticus, a mini space heater that keeps his nursery very toasty and has a slight hum when it clicks on and off. it would only wake the craziest insomniac (read: my mother).
Buy space heaters based on how frequently you'll be using them, too; radiant heaters are best for heating a room for only a few hours.
