the moma on a snowy day.

moma nyc

it's always a jinx when i put my snow boots away for the winter thinking i'm in the clear. of course it's going to snow in march! i had the get-out-of-the-house itch and it's been a while since we've been to the moma. also, don't go to the moma on a snowy saturday because you can hardly see the art for the herds of people. no matter, it's my favorite museum in the city.

ed walks around with the earphone thingamajigs and listens to the history of the pieces but i'm always more intrigued by the building's actual architecture. the windows overlooking other galleries and city views are the most appealing.

the plywood exhibit (yes, plywood) was interesting in terms of how it shaped modern furniture design.

the snow let up just before heading downtown for a veggie plate at westville with dear friends from mississippi.

I'm a design nerd and would love that plywood exhibit...eames, drool. you managed to get great shots despite the crowds!

you're cute, and i swear by those bean boots! i admired that very stairwell when we were up last month; meanwhile mark reads every wall blurb about every piece when we're at museums. (i should probably start.)

I don't know what I love more–the moma or your duck boots.

I went to the moma last year and I was like you, I loved the design of the building itself!
