shelter island beach house.

knoll CEO andrew cogan lives with his wife and three kids on new york's shelter island. no doubt the bar is set pretty high when you're CEO one of the most famous modern furniture design firms, yet their home remains extremely relatable and not the least bit over the top. ok, it's huge, but it doesn't look like a museum as i would have expected.
perhaps the yellow womb chair serves dual purpose as a lighthouse for the boats at sea.
not one, but THREE dining tables in this joint. how do you choose where to eat? and what a nice problem to have!
